Arrested with Thousands of Lethal Blades in Suspects Possession

An American woman from the Florida area of the United States who attempted to stab a police official with a large sword has been placed under arrest. This occurred after the police officials found the woman to have thousands of swords, knives and bladed instruments inside her mobile home. These lethal weapons are regarded as high threats to the public.

 

The police officials went to the suspects’ home to help assist parole officers who were desperately trying to issue out felony arrest warrants to the suspect. 

The police officials fired multiple bean bag rounds at the suspect known as Nickole Dykema. The shots were fired after the suspect tried to stab a police official and also refused to surrender to their arrest.

 

After a total of almost five hours, the suspect was then shot with a stun gun after she armed herself with multiple lethal weapons from her home and attempted to advance onto the police officials.

 

A statement from police department said the bean bag rounds had no effect on Dykema, who shouted obscenities at deputies from the inside of her mobile home.

 

The statement said: "During this time, Dykema utilised a large sword or machete type weapon and attempted to stab Sergeant Chris Calderon, missing his face and head by only inches.

 

"These actions by Dykema put a well-founded fear in Sergeant Calderon that he would be killed or seriously injured."

 

Sheriff Al Nienhuis added: "This person was obviously dangerous to the community. It amazes me that these deputies were able to take her into custody without anyone being injured.

 

"It shows the level of their restraint and professionalism under very difficult and dangerous conditions."

 

Dykema is being held at Hernando County Detention Centre without bond. She faces multiple charges against her.

 

Deputies said they have removed more than 3,500 "bladed instruments" from the home.
