World's first hangover cure centre opens in Sydney, but it will cost you!

The new centre promises to cure those banging headaches, throwing-up and the other effects from a rough night out with your pals. The world’s first hangover recovery centre has been opened up by a clinic in Sydney Australia, however, it will cost quite a lot, enough to make one think twice about having the “last beer” before heading home.
The cure basically consists of an Intravenous, or an IV drip (It is a short, small plastic tube that is put into your vein using a needle. The plastic tube is then left in so that fluids and medicines can be given directly into the blood via the vein) loaded with all the necessary vitamins and fluids to get you feeling yourself again.
So how much does the cure actually cost, well, enough to make one consider giving up drinking! The price is said to be starting at 140$ per treatment, that’s R2 100!!!
This will buy you 30 minutes of Vitamins B and C combined with a hydration solution pumped through your veins. 200$ or more like R3 000 will get you an hour’s treatment, and a few head tablets, with some oxygen therapy… Just in case you really overdo it at the New Year’s Eve party this year.
The centre's Rod Lang said that having these fluids pumped directly into your body - as opposed to stuffing your face with fast food - has benefits. "Having intravenous fluids that can have benefits.
"As for having something like Maccas, that can be debated and that's something that I wouldn't be recommending."
Max Petro, another employee at the clinic, rebuffed the claims and said: "We don't sell any alcohol.
"There's no one binge drinking in our clinic. We're just there to make sure people can get on with their day."
Although the prices are quite steep, it is plausible and could change the way we feel after those Christmas parties... all we need for someone clever enough to bring the idea to South Africa.
